Happy Thanksgiving from Preppy Monogrammed Gifts!

We certainly have many, many things to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day.

I know we have things in common with you all that we are especially thankful for this year.
We are thankful for family and friends. We are thankful that we live in a country that provides freedoms so vast that other countries look to us as an example.

How blessed we are to live in a country where we can differ vastly in political opinions and yet are not persecuted or prosecuted for these opinions.
For these and so many other blessings, I am extremely grateful!

This Thanksgiving day, we at Preppy Monogrammed Gifts want to thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us this year!
You have graced us with your patronage and friendship . . . Thank you.

Recipe day! Something yummy to make during the holidays!

Yummie Chocolate Cake!
1 stick melted butter
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1/4 C. cocoa
1/4 C. self-rising flour
1 C. sugar
1 ready to bake regular size pie shell {not deep dish}

Mix ingredients together in bowl with fork until well combined.
Avoid using a mixer if possible, over beating the filling will cause the top to rise and crack after baking. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes.
Let sit for 10-15 or as long as you possibly can resist.
Feel free to double, triple, this recipe. This recipe came to me from my friend Katie.

This dessert would make a lovely gift along side a pair of our monogrammed kitchen towel sets. Personalize with a single initials, 3 letter monogram or name.
