I enjoyed taking off last Friday and enjoyed a nice long weekend.
Friday evening I went on a 10 mile bike ride with my husband.
This was the fun that we thought we could have while our children are away visiting grandparents this week. It was a beautiful and scenic ride. I personally think a 5 mile bike ride is a better fit for me.

Saturday night he took me to a baseball game and honestly... I didn't see any of it. I talked the whole game-- AND ATE... a yummy hot dog, chips and a coke. For dessert we shared a delicious Root Beer float and an Brownie ice cream Sunday.
With the cold front that moved in Friday night I was loving sitting by the pool on Sunday afternoon.
I think I might have stayed a little too long because I am looking a little pink today!
We ate chocolate chip cookies last night and drank our favorite Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks while we watched Marley and Me. There were a few comments from my sweet husband of "oh Brother" but, we mostly laughed and I cried. What a great movie.
Over all we had a nice weekend of fun dates. We hope that you all had a fantastic weekend too.
Our phones must have rang 50 times with sweet little voices on the other end saying.
"What are you doing? What is daddy doing? Do you miss me? I love you, do you love me?"

The sweetest sounds to our ears. Little children are so sweet. I went to Target yesterday for a quick trip to get my children a small gift to let them know they were missed.
I purchased them a really cute journal. I thought this would be something fun for us to start journaling with them as soon as they get back teaching them to be optimistic thinkers and positive about life.

I couldn't help but reflect a little today about how they are just getting so smart and grown up!
It makes me so proud to be their parent and I miss those days when they only ate and slept all day.

Oh, I've been wanting to see Marley and Me for so long! Do you recommend it?
It was a really cute movie. My husband made a comment about it last night which is funny because he spends most of his time watching Operation Repo and 48 Hours Hard Evidence. He should of been a undercover investigator. Anyway. I wouldn't recommmend for children to watch it. There are a few scenes that children shouldn't watch. It really it a funny movie, if your life is anything like ours. It was kinda like watching a documentation of our lives in a hollywood film. Very busy, hectic and full of love.
