Recipe Tuesday!

Here is a fun and Easy Recipe that the children can help make. I don't have a picture but, it's looks nice and is yummy. I served it with new potatoes and a side salad tonight for dinner.

3 to 4 chicken breat pounded flat.
McCormick Seasoned Salt to taste
Swiss Cheese
1 package of Pancetta


Layer chicken breast in a casserole dish and sprinkle with Seasoned Salt. I tend to use a lot just because I love the taste. Layer with Pencetta and Swiss Cheese and Bake at 450 degrees for 25 minute or until juices run clear.

You could add to this recipe spinach or use bacon instead of pancetta. I love to cured salty flavor of the pancetta though. I pound my chicken with a heavy iron skillet because I don't have a Mallet. Do I really need a mallet, Do you have a mallet?

Recipe Tuesday! (posted on Thursday!)

This recipe is worth waiting for 2 days later to receive.
I had this last night at choir and you talk about Yummy....
I'm taking this one to Bunko very soon.

Popcorn Cake

Be sure, though, to use plain, unbuttered, unsalted, popcorn.

2 teaspoons plus 1/4 cup vegetable oil
12 cups popped popcorn (plain, unsalted and unbuttered)
2 cups M & M candies
1 cup lightly salted cocktail peanuts
1 stick unsalted butter 1 pound marshmallows

Grease a large tube or bundt cake pan with 2 teaspoons of the oil, and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the popped corn with the M & M candies and the peanuts.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter, remaining 1/4 cup of oil, and marshmallows over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally. When melted, pour over the popcorn mixture, and stir to combine. Pour into the prepared cake pan, pressing down to fit. Cover with aluminum foil to keep moist and let rest until firm, 3 to 4 hours.
To serve, invert the cake pan onto a large cake plate or platter. Shake gently to release.
Serve at room temperature.

Recipe Tuesday!

This is perfect for Bunko or tailgating.

Chili Cheese Bake Serves: 8-10

Ingredients:
TOSTITOS® Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips, coarsely crushed
TOSTITOS® All Natural Salsa
2 - 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
2 small cans chili with no beans
1 pound lean ground beef
12 oz. shredded cheddar cheese or shredded cheddar/jack cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown and drain ground beef in a skillet, set aside. Lightly crush chips in the bag. To assemble, spread cream cheese evenly in a lightly greased 9x13" baking pan. Layer chili, cooked ground beef, half of the shredded cheese, TOSTITOS® Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips, and the remainder of the shredded cheese in the order given. Bake uncovered for approximately. 15-20 minutes, or until cheese melts. Serve with TOSTITOS® All Natural Salsa on the side. Fast and delicious! Total prep time 15 - 20 minutes.
