Wacky Wednesday Give Away!

We just love Wednesday!

It is so much fun to think of a new item to giveaway.
Some of you may have already started dragging the Christmas boxes out of storage or your attic.
Our neighbor already has a wreath on their front door.
We always wait till the day after Thanksgiving and eat cookies, and drink coffee and apple cider but, there is no specific date to start getting in the Christmas Spirit.
It's a fun tradition and my kids love it!
Last year I let them hang all the ornaments and didn't complain that they had 15 ornaments on one tree limb. They had so much fun and I just enjoyed watching them. My Dh was amazed as I am a perfectionist so this was a first for me.

Recipe Tuesday!

Pumpkin Dip

3/4 cup (6 oz.) cream cheese

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup canned pumpkin

2 tsp. maple syrup

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1.Place first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl; beat with a mixer at medium speed until well blended. (I whipped for about 2-3 minutes, to get it nice and fluffy) Add syrup and cinnamon, and beat until smooth. Cover dip, and chill 30 minutes. Serve with ginger snaps.

I've spent some time this week reading different history websites and I am so thankful to be an American. I attended a Veteran's Day ceremony and there is no greater service than the men and women that keep our country safe.
